Solid hardwood strip flooring: These floors are made of solid wood and are fixed to the sub-floor, then sanded and sealed with a high quality sealing product.

Engineered wood flooring: These floors usually have a 4mm surface layer of solid timber that can be sanded up to 5 times. The method of construction provides increased stability and the floor can be laid directly on concrete or timber without being fixed down.

Laminate flooring: A wear-resistant decorative surface made of resin based melamine. The surface is bonded to a moisture resistant wood based core. Very hard wearing and difficult to stain, scratch, or burn and a cost effective alternative to wood.

Tiles: come in a wide range of colours and materials; slate, marble and terracotta and can be made completely waterproof and are easy to clean.
